I agree when you said that, “Many people believe that you have to spend a lot of money to look good. The truth is, yes and no. Where you would need to spend more money would be on good shoes, a nice bag, and a great winter coat and sweater, etc. In other areas of your wardrobe you can get away with spending a bit less, but they must be of good quality.” There are really stuff that we should invest on and most of these things include the ones that we use everyday. At this point, where everything is unstable, we should be practical in spending our money. Thank you for posting this and giving us some options.

I still haven’t purchased anything from Shukr Clothing but I drool over the long tunics like these two. It is expensive for us to afford but inshaAllah once possible it will be worth it. I think it is important to remember that material itself costs a lot of money and someone is actually cutting it and making the clothing, shipping it, and there are those who need to get paid. This is quite cheap in comparison to things at Kohls, for instance. I consider Shukr Clothing a top of the line brand name. It’s definitely growing!

Your clothing is too expensive even with the blowout sale…$49 for a shirt is supposed to be cheap?

I don’t know anyone who could possibly afford to buy more than one or two items (forget about an entire wardrobe), even before the “credit crunch.”

Maybe I could understand if this was some famous top of the line brand name designer clothing (not that I buy that kinda stuff anyways) but it isn’t.

Just my honest opinion….
